About Us
At Interconnect Ministry, we engage in the ministry of reconciliation (490) to go and proclaim the gospel of Christ (forgiveness of sin). To make disciples of all nations (CCC), teaching them to live a life that reflects a Constant Connection with Christ, our True Vine.
Core Values
The Great Commission:
The mobilization of believers to go to all nations. (Matthew 28)
Privilege:
Service is not a right, but a God-given command and privilege. Jesus did not ask us to send people, but that we pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers. (Matthew 9:38)
Faith-based risk:
There are risks, but we must be diligent in our discernment based on trust and faith in the Lord. Move like a snake and be humble like a dove. (Matthew 10:16).
Empowerment:
Without the Holy Spirit, we cannot GO (1 Corinthians 2:4). We rely on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Our DNA
We know that we are loved because the Bible tells us so (John 3:16). We know and experienced what Love is because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). It is the effectual love of God that changes our hearts to make us capable of loving ourselves and others. Jesus’ example of Love (on the Cross) reminds us again and again of our need to love others. From all the poor and powerless to the rich and privileged. From the sinners, murderers, thieves, liars, and the un-loveable, to the saints and loveable; Jesus paid for all (John 3:16).
We know we are loved because of John 3:16. We understand love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19), enabling us to experience, learn, and express it. How do we respond? By trusting and obeying His commandments, walking in love as Christ did (2 John 1:6; Ephesians 5:1-2). We are called to love God with all we have and love others as Jesus loves us (Mark 12:30; John 13:34). The world will recognize us as Jesus’ disciples when we love one another (John 13:35).
We are commissioned to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13). But they cannot call on Him unless someone preaches the Good News (Romans 10:14-15). Prayer supports our mission as we go to all nations (Matthew 9:35-38). Our purpose is to proclaim the Gospel: God loves us and sent His Son to die for us (John 3:16). Those who call on the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13). We know God loves us because the Bible tells us so. We are loved!
Our Moto
490ccc
70×7=490. In John 15, the guiding principle for our Christian journey is “Constant Connect with Christ,” abbreviated as 490ccc. The ministry of reconciliation begins with forgiveness. Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross secures eternal forgiveness for our past, present, and future sins. Why do we spread the message and make disciples worldwide? To reconcile sinners with God. How do we sustain our spiritual growth in the new life Christ offers us as believers? By maintaining a continuous connection with Christ. Hence, we adopt 490ccc to symbolize the Interconnect ministry.
